Before coming into town, arrange your needs into one list. Then put the things you simply want in another. If a home comes up short on your must-haves, it's one less house to look at.
Have a set price range. This could be based on mortgage or a safe estimate of how much you'll get from the sale of your current home.
Consider drive time to work or other activities. Traffic around Austin could be different than what you're accustomed to, so tell me how long a commute you're willing to undertake.

I can send you some top recommendations before we meet in person. Or you could already have some favorite listings culled from your own research. While virtual tours and photos are great, there's nothing like touring homes in person. Let me set up any necessary appointments and map a route.
