About John Horton
John Horton specializes in real estate brokerage, helping agents build their own successful real estate business, and enhancing their ability to deliver a more satisfying consumer experience. He is a recognized leader and one of the most respected brokers in Central Texas by consumers and real estate professionals alike.
John has been a licensed real estate broker in Austin since 1982, after earning a degree in real estate from The University of Texas at Austin. He holds a brokers license in 10 states, and is a TREC- and TAR-approved instructor. John serves as a NAR director, a TAR Regional Vice President, and he was the 2010 Chairman of the Austin Board of Realtors.
He is married with four children and is an active grandfather to his four grandchildren. Beyond his family, John is most proud of being an Eagle Scout.
